Amber

Amber started practicing yoga about 10 years ago when a friend invited her to a local yoga class. She was so amazed that yoga asked you to not only have strength in your practice, but also softness. It was not only challenging physically, but also mentally. She was hooked after that first class. Yoga has been a major part of her life ever since. She loves that yoga helps you create balance between strength and flexibility through movement, breath and mindfulness. This is something she tries to incorporate into every practice. Amber is a Yoga Alliance 200 RYT. When not doing yoga you can find her out taking pictures, enjoying a soccer game, reading, and spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs.

Amber instructs the following:
  • Hot Vinyasa
  • Hot Vinyasa, is what you think of when you think "Hot Yoga", also called "flow yoga". Hot Vinyasa is a breath-centered practice in our infrared hot yoga room, varying between 95-105 degrees of infrared heat, so you get ALL the health benefits of an infrared sauna in addition to all the benefits of yoga. The sequences vary in the types of poses done, how long they are held, and difficulty of the class. All levels are welcome and encouraged to practice at the student's own level, as teachers will offer different variations to poses. Movements are cued by the breath, and designed to flow seamlessly and intuitively, making this a fun and lively class, and our most popular form of hot yoga.

  • Mobility Flow
  • Mobility Flow blends concepts from mobility training, strength and flexibility training, and yoga to help you move better on and off your mat. Not your typical yoga class, mobility will challenge you to move through your body in fun and creative ways to help cultivate new ranges of motion, expanding both flexibility and strength, stabilize your joints, and increase your balance and everyday functional movement. Move better to feel better. All levels of practitioners are welcome. This is a 45 minute class and meets in the non-heated yoga room.

  • Hot Yin
  • Turn up the heat on your Yin practice. Hot Yin Yoga blends long-held, floor-based postures with a warm room to amplify circulation, ease tension, and encourage a deeper release in the body’s connective tissues. The heat helps you soften into each pose, allowing your mind to slow down and your body to open up.

Rooted in Chinese Medicine, Hot Yin supports the flow of energy (Qi), promoting balance and resilience. It’s a perfect complement to high-energy routines or a busy mind—offering both challenge and calm in one practice. Come for a little sweat, a great stretch, and settle into the quiet strength of stillness.
