What Do I Do Before Class?

No need to preregister, you can just show up for any of our yoga classes. We have amazing classes, talented staff, and we would love of you to try yoga with us! Just show up and let's go!!

 

If you choose to you can preregister on the MindBody app. Download it on your phone from the APP STORE and you can access our current schedule and classes 24/7.

 

What Do I Wear?

  1. Please wear comfortable workout type clothes. Lots of people wear yoga tops and leggings, but anything goes: tee shirts, shorts, tank tops, biking shorts, whatever you are comfortable in.
  2. If you are going to infrared hot yoga please make sure you are wearing light clothing. You will sweat and detox a lot in infrared hot yoga.
  3. A hair tie. Most people find it annoying when their hair falls into their face while bending over for yoga poses. Tying the hair back is recommended.
  4. Shoes really don't matter. You will remove your shoes and socks for yoga. It is usually practiced in bare feet. So just slip something on to get you into the studio that's easy to remove.
  5. In cold weather we have places for you to hang your coat.

 

What Do I Bring?

  1. Please bring a yoga mat. But if you don't have one, we do have mats you can rent.
  2. Hot yoga mat towel. But if you don't have one, we do have mat towels you can rent. If you're not doing hot yoga a mat towel is not needed. 
  3. We provide all the bolsters (yoga pillows), yoga blankets, yoga straps, and yoga blocks you will need for class, free of cost. If you need them your instructor will tell you to get them.
  4. A water bottle. We have reverse osmosis filtered ice and water for you to fill up with your water bottle with healthy water. We do have plastic water bottles you can buy.
  5. A hair tie. Most people find it annoying when their hair falls into their face while bending over for yoga poses. Tying the hair back is recommended.
  6. Leave your purse, phone, and other items in your car. Yoga is an escape from your busy day. Use this time for restoration.

 

How Early Do I Arrive for Classes?

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your class so that you can:

  1. Set up your mat
  2. Acclimate yourself to the environment
  3. Have time to get settled for practice
  4. Ask the instructor any questions you may have before class

 

Which Classes Can I Attend?

You can attend ANY of our amazing yoga classes, pilates classes, yin yoga classes, gentle yoga classes, and sound therapy classes we offer on our yoga schedule. Each class can accommodate beginners and expert yogis. Feel free to try all of our classes to find the ones you like.

Can I Talk to the Teacher?

Absolutely. Our teachers are super nice. They have worked hard and are professionals who want to help you all they can. Before and after class are great times to pull the teacher aside and ask questions. They love to help.
