How we did it:

16 Tons of Imported Himalayan Pink Salt

We imported 16 tons (that's 32,000 pounds!) of pure beautiful pink salt from the pristine mines in the Himalayan mountain range. Come and see how incredibly beautiful these pink and orange bricks are. You can actually feel the energy of these amazing bricks that have so recently been mined from those ancient mountains in Asia.

We only use pure sodium chloride, NaCl, or pure dry salt diffused in our beautiful Himalayan salt cave. This is the only salt pure enough to breathe deeply into your lungs and produce the amazing medicinal benefits listed below. When broken into microscopically small particles and diffused into the air with our special technology, this pure, dry therapeutic salt naturally starts absorbing allergens, toxins and foreign substances out of your lungs and throughout your entire respiratory tract.

Pure dry salt therapy reduces inflammation and opens airway passages, breaking loose and clearing out the gunk in your respiratory tract. Pure dry salt therapy can impact people suffering from respiratory conditions like allergies, asthma, bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, COPD and others. Our salt cave is in a sealed room with specialized ventilation for maximum therapeutic benefit. We also have used a technique of dry stacking our beautiful bricks, which eliminates mortar between the bricks of salt. Mortar introduces chemicals not conducive to therapy. When installing the cave we only used a non toxic, odorless adhesive for increased therapeutic effects, and to kept our salt cave pristine. We worked closely with the National Salt Therapy Association to make our Himalayan salt cave more therapeutic. We went to great extremes to create an enchanting and medicinal natural Himalayan Salt Cave in our wellness center. Breathe in the goodness and experience the benefits of our pure dry salt therapy.

How it works:

Our salt cave experiences run every hour on the hour, Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. You sit comfortably in our salt cave breathing in the pure dry salt therapy for 45 minutes. As you enter our salt cave grab a blanket to keep you warm. Pick a seat, sit back in our zero gravity recliners, and make yourself comfy. We have sound therapy as well as occasional live sound baths to make the experience even more relaxing. During the session, microscopically small pure dry salt particles are pumped into the air from our state of the art salt generator into the room. The most important thing is to breathe, and you will experience the many benefits of halotherapy, or pure dry salt therapy (see list of benefits below).

Salt cave sessions start promptly every hour on the hour. Though walk ins are welcome, sometimes the salt cave is reserved for another event, so reservations are recommended.

Special Kids Sessions

Salt therapy is amazing for your kids and babies! We hold shortened, 25 minute sessions for kids, toddlers, and babies under the age of 12 and their accompanying guardian. Please call to schedule. These fill up really fast, and you're not guaranteed a seat if you don't have a reservation.

Normal Adult Sessions

If you've got a group with kids over 12 years of age, or more adults than kids, you'll want our longer, 45 minute adult sessions to get the full therapeutic value. If you happen to bring kids or teens with you, and they start to act up or disrupt the session for others, we ask that you take them out for the courtesy of the other people in the room, please be polite. Reservations are recommended.

Normal adult sessions are 45 minutes and run every hour on the hour before 5:00 PM (Want to attend after 5:00 PM? See our adult session below).

Adult Only Sessions | Date Nights!

As a courtesy to our guests who attend our salt cave for relaxation and meditation, sessions from 5:00 - 9:00 PM are ages 18+ only. These make great date nights! The exception to this is if you rent out the entire salt cave room for your private event for $200. It holds up to 14 people.
