Melanie is an avid runner, biker, mom and loves of all styles of yoga. Her first love is Vinyasa Power Yoga. She also teaches yoga with weights, piyo and loves a good yin/restorative class. She loves the physical element of a strong yoga practice and that is what drew her to her mat initially. What keeps her coming back to her mat is the mindfulness and intention aspect. Hot Vinyasa
Hot Vinyasa, also called "flow yoga", is a breath-centered practice that is different every time you do it. This class is offered in the hot yoga room, varying between 95-100 degrees of infrared heat. The sequences vary in the types of poses done, how long they are held, and difficulty of the class. All levels are welcome and encouraged to practice at the student's own level, as teachers will offer different variations to poses. Movements are cued by the breath, and designed to flow seamlessly and intuitively, making this a fun and lively class, and our most popular form of hot yoga.
